You know how men are \u2014 when you ask, they\u2019re always \u201cfine.\u201d
No complaints. Nothing to worry about.<\/p>

And so it was with this gentleman in his 40s, whom I consulted quickly\u2026 at McDonald\u2019s.<\/p>

He\u2019d been coughing for a month.
It started with a sore throat, then turned into something else, then something else again.<\/p>

When I asked for details:<\/p>

\u201cI\u2019m fine. Nothing\u2019s wrong.\u201d
\u2014 Yet he had already taken everything he could buy online.<\/p><\/blockquote>

Dry, irritating cough. He coughs when he talks.
In the morning, the coughing \u201cwakes the dogs,\u201d according to his wife.
When he takes a deep breath, he coughs even more.<\/p>

But other than that\u2026 he\u2019s fine.<\/p>

Very often I have to prescribe based on observation and listening \u2014 and this was one of those cases.<\/p>

That evening, after the quick consult:<\/p>

After taking the remedy, there was a brief aggravation \u2014 the cough worsened temporarily.
Then it calmed down, and the mucus became looser \u2014 he was able to expectorate easily.<\/p>

All that after just two granules<\/strong>.<\/p>

He slept peacefully through the night with no coughing.
The morning cough was delayed by a few hours (he used to cough as soon as he got up).
The daytime coughing also calmed significantly.<\/p>
